Industry insider Laura Kate Dale has revealed some new information about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s release date.
In a tweet sent out Wednesday morning, she claims that Nintendo are internally aiming for a June 16, 2017 release on Switch, and that the Wii U version would come one week later, on June 23, 2017.
It seems like an odd choice, but it wouldn’t be the first time that Nintendo pulled something like this off. It was also the case for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in December 2006. The game was released earlier on Wii than on GameCube in every region.
