Darksiders publisher has two Switch projects in the works

THQ Nordic’s Business & Product Development Director, Reinhard Pollice, has revealed that his studio is working on two projects for Nintendo Switch.

The Austrian developer and publisher shared this information in an interview with NintendoEverything.

Of course, THQ Nordic was already confirmed to be one of Nintendo’s Switch partners, but what we didn’t know is that they were working on two projects rather than one.

The company acquired many of THQ’s properties upon its demise in 2013, including its trademark and logo. Its IP catalog includes Darksiders, Red Faction, MX vs ATV, Destroy All Humans and De Blob.

What they are working on for Switch remains to be seen, but one could guess that the recently released Darksiders: Warmastered Edition (PS4, XBO, Wii U, PC) and rumored Darksiders III may be making their way to Nintendo’s next system.

  1. So one game will be the Darksiders Warmaster remake. Which would be stupid. Another game that people can pick up now on the PS4, XB1 and PC. Just like Skyrim. On top of that, do they really expect people to pay full price for the game? If Skyrim is 20 or 30 bucks I’ll think about it. I can’t wait until Jan 12 2017. Where hopefully Resident Evil 7 and Final Fantasy 7 will be announced.
