Bethesda is currently “having discussions” about bringing Prey to Nintendo Switch.
Finder asked Bethesda’s vice-president Pete Hines if the Switch would be able to run Prey, his company’s upcoming first-person shooter.
“I have no idea. There are discussions around it, but there is no conclusion yet”, responded Hines.
He also mentioned that Bethesda puts their games out “on any format that supports the games as [they] envisage and make them”.
In other words, Bethesda games will be coming to Switch only if they don’t compromise the publisher’s vision about what the game should be.
Is Bethesda simply unaware of the system’s final specs, or is the Switch’s hardware already giving developers a hard time?
Maybe we’ll be hearing more about this soon enough.
