The Nintendo Switch will be receiving a remastered version of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers sometime in 2017. But a new trailer released for the game earlier today features an odd tese at its very end.
Obviously, Street Fighter II is a 2D game with retro graphics. This split-second first-person sequence at the end of its trailer shown at the Nintendo Treehouse today has a more Street Fighter V-like art style though.
What could this possibly mean? Will the Switch receive a version of Street Fighter V?
After careful thought, I think that this might be some kind of bonus mode for Street Fighter II that takes advantage of the Switch’s HD Rumble feature.
Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers for Nintendo Switch will feature two new characters (Evil Ryu, Violent Ken), as well as new single-player and multiplayer modes.
Expect more details soon.
