The Switch’s launch lineup just became a little less sparse.
Nicalis founder Tyrone Rodriguez confirmed on The Binding of Isaac’s official website that the game’s remade version featuring all of its expansions, Afterbirth †, will be available for Nintendo Switch on March 3rd.
Rodriguez took this opportunity to throw some shade at Nintendo.
“By now you’ve hopefully heard that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is coming to Nintendo Switch in retail form. What does it mean? It means that there is more than just The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on launch.”
The game will be available in physical and digital forms for $39.99 in the United States.
“You might want to consider pre-ordering as the first few thousand copies may come backed in with something special”, added Rodriguez.
Side-note: the box art is lovely. Just thought I’d throw that out there.
Will you be picking this up at launch?
